CASE IH SPONSORS NEW AWARDS FOR WISCONSIN STATE FAIR EXHIBITORS
RACINE, Wis. - Junior livestock exhibitors will have a new incentive to stand in the winner's circle during the 2009 Wisconsin State Fair - August 6-16th in West Allis, Wis. Wisconsin-based agriculture equipment manufacturer Case IH is offering $5,800 in awards for beef, dairy, sheep and swine exhibitors who excel at the fair.
"Case IH is proud to offer new incentives to Wisconsin State Fair junior livestock exhibitors to reward their hard work," says Duane Nelson, Director of Global Branding and Communication for Case IH. "The Fair's 4-H and FFA junior exhibitors represent the bright future of American agriculture, and they help keep the Fair's strong connection to the agriculture industry alive. These awards are our way of rewarding and encouraging youth to continue to pursue a path in agriculture."
The special awards for superior achievement in Beef, Dairy, Swine, Sheep and Showmanship Classes are new for 2009. Case IH will be offering the following awards during the Fair's 11-day run.
Beef Show
- $500 Supreme Champion Beef Heifer Exhibitor
- $250 Reserve Supreme Champion Beef Heifer Exhibitor
- $300 Grand Champion Overall Beef Performance Class Exhibitor
- $250 Reserve Grand Champion Overall Beef Performance Class Exhibitor
Dairy Show
- $500 Supreme Champion Dairy Female Exhibitor
- $250 Reserve Supreme Champion Dairy Female Exhibitor
- $300 Supreme Champion Bred & Owned Dairy Female Exhibitor
- $250 Reserve Supreme Champion Bred & Owned Dairy Female Exhibitor
Sheep Show
- $500 Supreme Champion Breeding Sheep Exhibitor
- $250 Reserve Supreme Champion Breeding Sheep Exhibitor
- $300 Grand Champion Overall Sheep Performance Class Exhibitor

Swine Show

Case IH will also present the Supreme Champion Show Person, in each livestock division, with a $100 scholarship, and a $50 scholarship will go to the Reserve Champion Show Person.
